The Naturquartier Rügen is being built on 30,000 square meters of land in Göhren, southeast of the Mönchgut peninsula. In close cooperation with selected architects, the project developers are focusing on ecological and sustainable construction methods, a reduced and clear architectural and design language and communal living on one of the last idyllic, unspoiled plots of land.
The unique location of the Naturquartier in Göhren makes the ecological architectural area one of a kind. Located directly behind the dune, it is nestled between the small Hövststrasse and the Friedrichstrasse at the top of the hill – within walking distance of the sea on the one hand and adjacent to the town center on the other. A footpath from Hövtstraße through the nature reserve over the dune leads in 5 minutes on foot to the natural south beach, which invites you to linger in peace and quiet away from all tourist services.
A stroll through the former fishing village of Göhren with its charming, historic thatched-roof houses leads directly to the lively Nordstrand beach with its wide range of leisure activities. There are two well-stocked supermarkets within walking distance of the Naturquartier for everyday shopping. Supermarkets in Baabe, 6 kilometers away, make bulk shopping possible.
